We supported you when you were small. You promised that early supporters would continue to receive updates and access to improvements. That promise mattered.
So we were stunned and disappointed to discover that the new “Reasoning” models have been moved outside the scope of lifetime deal access. This change looks less like a technical necessity and more like a maneuver that takes away the very benefits we were sold. The explanation that GPT‑5 is “more expensive” is simply not convincing. That makes this decision feel like a deliberate restriction rather than an unavoidable cost-driven choice.
It is a breach of the relationship you asked us to enter into. We trusted your roadmap and invested under the terms you set out.

Over the past two years, we’ve continued to deliver updates, improvements, and new capabilities - all included in your lifetime access. Regarding the new Reasoning models, these represent a significantly more advanced level of AI technology - far more resource-intensive than standard models. Because of this, we’re exploring a fair way to make them available through an optional add-on for those who want that extra capability, with AppSumo’s approval, which we’re aiming to roll out around Black Friday - all while keeping your current plan fully supported and continuously improved.
We remain grateful for your early support and are committed to keeping your existing plan valuable and growing over time - just within the fair and realistic scope of what was originally offered. Our goal has always been to balance fairness with sustainability so that Logically.app continues to thrive.
