Having tweaked the settings and played around with Agent 23, I feel that by the time this deal leaves APpsumo, it would be much more sophisticated.
Having bought multiple deals from similar service products a month ago, my comparison is primarily using that as a benchmark. Right off the bat, Agnet23 wins by not capping the training limit per chatbot. I was stuck at 6M in my previous scenario and there was nothing I could do to increase the limits. What's worse, that product increased the limits of its plans to 11 million characters but Sumolings so far have not been mapped to the new plan. I digress.
Coming back to this product, it works pretty much in a similar fashion. There is a settings tab where you can set the base prompt, the welcome message and suggested user prompts. You can disable the branding (I believe this happened after a user requested it and they delivered it in a few hours, and hence my confidence In this team)
The chat itself seems to be accurate and relies on the training data and also shows the source (more on this later). It appears to be faster than others but this is probably because I am one of the earlier users. Will be interesting to see of speed drops down the road.
For 15M token at a one of price, I am definitely keeping this as I can see tremendous value.
Now, my suggestions on how we can get better:
- I am not clear whether this is using 3.5 Turbo or GPT 4
- Will you provide us the option to use our own keys that will bypass limits on at least the chat messages?
- Please allow different keys for different chatbots (rather than one for the main account)
- Similar to point above, please enable sub-accounts that are independent and will basic role permissions (owner, editor)
- Ability to add chat logo and also change the 'man' avatar in the simulator to something of our choice or at least offer a few different options beyond a man.
- The UI/UX could probably be better (subjective)
- Please enable a function where the bot cannot answer > lead collected > name & email > email this to account holder with a copy of the chat transcript up to the point the bot couldn't answer (this would make my day)

May 16, 2024Thanks Sumoling8486! This is very helpful feedback. We for sure have lots of room to make the product much better. And I really appreciate your confidence in our ability to deliver to that. We promise we will not let anyone down on that. We have been working very diligently last couple days to analyze each of question/ feedback we are receiving and looking in to ways to incorporate those and are making great progress. We are also going to publish our roadmap so there is transparency on what's coming soon.
I want to take this opportunity to provide updates on the points you mentioned above:

[OB: We use GPT 3.5, as that's cheaper compared to GPT 4. And we found the responses to be as good as GPT4 for most cases, I'm sure there are exceptions to that.]

[OB: Done. This feature was published last night. You will have ability to use your own API key, usage of your API key will kick in after you have exhausted Agent23's token and the account needs to be on ultimate plan. We are also working on API Key by Chatbot. This should be available in few days.]
