AppSumo Bundle Volume 2: AI Power Pack Reviews

I am a huge fan of Appsumo. But this deal was really bad. I actually bought it for Freepik and Otter, and I have to say I am really disappointed.

Freepik, as has been mentioned several times, is really a bad deal. And honestly, the results I have achieved with it so far are the same as those I achieved with Nano Banana in my Google One subscription. The credits are also gone in no time if you play around with it a little. That's 84,000 credits for one year.
I took about 10 pictures, including a little upscaling and so on, and have already used up almost 2,000 credits.
In other words, if I extrapolate that and have to play around with different visuals for customer orders, everything will be used up after about 40-50 attempts (because you usually need more than just one attempt).

It's also still unclear whether you can cancel the subscription in advance or not. Or whether you'll be blocked immediately. Because for me, it's not a normal Essential subscription, but with the addition of “Trail,” which means that after cancellation, it's over, even though I paid for 1 year... There is no information on this yet.

Otter.ai is also a disappointment, unfortunately.
Yes, it records conversations and yes, it also makes a transcript. BUT I am German and the tool apparently records my German conversations and translates them into English. The summary afterwards is also complete nonsense.
So I'm very disappointed here too.

I can't comment on the other two tools.
But Freepik and Otter are both disappointing, and even though it was “only” around 35 euros for Plus membership, it would have been one of the first apps I would have returned immediately.

I didn't realize that Freepik is only the essential plan. This bundle is totally disappointing, especially when you are an AppSumo Plus member, because you don't have any further benefit like a refund option. I forgot to use my 25 USD coupon, asked the support after I bought the bundle. No way. I was advised to use my coupon for my next purchase.

I'm quite surprised to see such a low rating for this bundle.
The Otter subscription by itself justifies the bundle price.
Yes, Freepik is a joke. It doesn’t include any premium graphics, which are really the only notable asset in the whole service. I don’t know much about Lex and Gumloop, but they’re worth a try.

So even if Otter is the only interesting offering here, $49 still feels like a good deal.

Try to gather packages that are tools for a specific niche; maybe you'll use one, and the others you won't be able to do anything with.

A double charge occurred during the license redemption process(freepik/75.9USD). I only discovered it after contacting PayPal support.
This was not a temporary authorization that gets automatically canceled, but an actual charge that remains unless you contact the seller directly.
That’s clearly different from what was stated in the product description.
