I think that this will be a very useful tool. The limits, particularly for videos, are small; therefore, I bought tier 3. After my first tests, the video upscaling and enhancement worked fine, and the quality is excellent compared to the source.
Got the tier 1 deal and recently upgraded to tier 2. The image upscaling works great for low-resolution pictures found online or old photographs. Very happy with it, better results than other tools! It seems, however, that their model is not optimized for faces, the competition works better for potraits. For video, the quality depends on the input. I used it mostly with low-res footage which feels less "magic" compared to the images. There's now an option to enhance only certain timestamps of an uploaded video, which speeds up the process enormously and cuts costs.
Bought Tier 3 and dissapointed. Spending 24 credits, I've enhanced images and videos with Aimages. Sadly, except Upscales filters, I couldn't see any significant difference between before and after.
I'd rather use Remini. Sorry to say, even their free version has better results than yours.
But since Aimages is lifetime membership, I'm still hoping you can catch up eventually. Just don't be too long. I really don't want to use the money back guarantee here.
NOt good enough and not unimited as the competition
I am sorry, but the images are not good enough. And videos are weird. This still has a long way to be a Topaz competitor. I was hoping to replace that software. With Topaz, for the same price, I can have unlimited video and image upscaling and much more. It is a good product, but not good enough.

Thanks for an honest feedback!
Can you please expand a bit on why you think videos are weird? We would love to improve this aspect but don't know what you mean by that.
I'm at my second month 22+22 credits. Last month with 22 credits I de-interlaced 31 min AVI file from an interlaced miniDV camera of 2006: 720*576 pixels. + 6 images *400% or scubadiving blue removal. Super happy. This early November got 22 credits and since the lower cost I could take the same AVI file and do 2 operations (a) de-interlaced and (b) 200% (to 1576*1154 pixels) so I now have a suitable file to finally edit a film. Super happy. Youtube channel with my films @MeetExplorers (film of 2006 to be edited by end 2022)
During the tests of the platform, I have noticed that the results are impressive for both images and videos. Of course, input quality is important for any source, with bad quality of the source media you should not expect great output. Moreover, I've noticed that they add images from text in beta (similar to Stable Diffusion). I was almost purchasing Topaz Video AI and this deal just came to AppSumo and grabbed the higher tier. The credits are highly reduced now, rendering time is really short as this deal makes me very happy! Highly recommend and this is a great replacement of Topaz software.
Great platform, well done and wish you great success and growth in the future.
I had a colleague who made a video on her iPhone and it rendered about 480p. Maybe she was using a trial app. So I enhanced and upscaled her video using Aimages and it worked perfectly.
They've got Ai Artist (beta) that generates AI art images. Currently, it's free and it's fun to see the generated art work.
If a 5-minute video costs you more than your monthly allowance in credits, then I must say that this offer is useless for video, and Topaz labs are the winner for videos.

Hi,
We have lowered the costs for video enhancement so now you should get much more for the same number of Credits.
I am quite impressed by the quality of this product in enhancing images. I tested with a base image of 2430 x 1080 at 96dpi. It had pixelation when zoomed into. I applied Denoise and honestly, I didn't see much difference at all. HOWEVER, when I used the Denoised image and increased to 200% it not only increased in size and improved the quality but it actually did the denoising. When I went up to 400% it was unreal. The quality and output was incredibly clear - it's like the 400% does everything that the program promises which is weird but really really impressive. Have a look at my tests which are labelled by which processing I did. 5 tacos from me for the results when processed to 400%. https://www.dropbox.com/t/DLNLIPkSqMAvi3HI

Image Optimization at 200% - 400% is impressive.
