Q: Zoom is supposed to be HD, but 'due to capacity issues' they are streaming anywhere from 180p to 360p for ...

free and paid accounts on their Pro plan ($15/mo) which is fine if you're viewing everything in gallery mode, but HORRIBLE if for 'speaker view' and for the recording too.

What is the streaming resolution of the speakers during a live event?

Does it change whether there is one speaker or 10?

Can you control the type of view the attendees see? (active speaker vs a panel of speakers in a gallery)

A: Hi Team,

Thanks for sharing your concern. Here's my A2A:

1. What is the streaming resolution of the speakers during a live event?
- On airmeet, we stream all sessions in 720p by default. However, if your attendees or speakers have poor internet connectivity then they can choose to stream their session in three other modes (this does not affect overall session streaming) :
a) Low Defination Mode (360p)
b) Audio-only mode
c) Lite Mode (a scaled-down version of the platform) with limited functionalities

2. Does it change whether there is one speaker or 10?
- No, the streaming resolution remains the same irrespective of the number of speakers.

3. Can you control the type of view the attendees see? (active speaker vs a panel of speakers in a gallery)
- Yes, there are many different presenter selections that you can apply during a live session to bring the speaker(s) or the presentation into the spotlight.

Hope that addresses your concern. Happy to chat more :)

It would be great to know the answer to these questions especially after watching the webinar replay for the app. The max option I can select on YouTube is 360p which is horrible. I sure hope it was recorded at 1080 and not a YouTube limitation.
