Deal of the Year!

I've really been eyeing up Remo for a long time, but they think really highly of themselves and have just insane pricing. Now along comes Airtable as an LTD on AppSumo. Along with HeySummit, a previous LTD here, this can be an awesome combination for online summits since HeySummit integrates directly with Airtable, so that fills both the networking slot and the summit slot for me - well worth the investment in three codes. I've done some testing of both the meeting and conference features and have been pretty pleased with both. That said, and while I am giving this five tacos, nothing is perfect and there is definitely room for improvement in a few areas:

1.) The payment processing system does not seem to be in place yet, or else I cannot see how to set up registration with payment processing through AirTable. There should be registration setups for not only attendees but also sponsors at their respective tiers, and exhibitors, in the case of conferences with exhibit halls. Sponsors should get a number of tickets included depending on their sponsorship level and exhibitors should probably get at least 2 tickets. I do not presently see anything like that. I can use an outside registration system via HeySummit or other options, but transferring registration data back and forth manually via CSV files is a pain.

2.) For the exhibit hall, each booth should have an assigned booth representative (more than one would be nice). As it is, anyone could go to your company's exhibit booth and claim to be you, so competitors could conceivably engage in nefarious activity. A list of approved vendor representatives (via email address) per booth could easily be designated during the booth set up process in Airtable.

3.) Other than HeySummit, it does not appear to have any direct integrations. I use ConvertKit for my email marketing services, so something like a ConvertKit integration would be great. As it is, you need to import/export lists via CSV, which is clunky and time-consuming, at best.

4.) There does not appear to be any way to get your session recordings from your dashboard. Apparently, you need to request the recordings directly from Airtable support. This is very inconvenient and I do not see how it will be sustainable if Airtable continues to grow, which means it might take quite a while to get your session recordings.

All that said, based on my testing and hoped-for improvements, Airtable looks to be an excellent addition to my stable of online summit tools. It really is the best deal this year on AppSumo.
