Can't turn off recording AND can't download recording without contacting support??
Hi everyone, I test drove Airmeet and discovered some concerning things:
1. It's automatically recording your sessions. Even in the speed networking. I am intending to use this platform for leadership networking and mentorship. We cannot have it recording automatically. According to support, this cannot be turned off AND in order to access the recordings. These are both (that I can't turn off recording and that I cannot own my own recordings) is a deal-breaker for me
2. Registrants cannot proceed unless all fields are filled out, and then the text covers half their face in the meeting space. Greatly bothered my attendees
3. Airmeet "support" jumped in, which gave my attendees pause, but then didn't answer my question. IDK if it was AI or a real human, but if you're going to sit in on someone's conference they probably would appreciate an answer
4. Had to reset my password many times, even though I put it in correctly. One attendee had the same problem, and created new registrations - this could be a problem on a large scale costing me attendee fees
5. Not a show-stopper, but the speed networking says "Finding Your Best Match" and I think it would be better worded "Next Match" so people don't feel like they may be excluded from being matched with others
Here's what I liked:
1. The table layout is customizable and flexible
2. Aside from the registration, and display issues above, my test attendees really enjoyed the platform and their experience
3. Aside from the issues noted above, it does seem to mimic the functionality of Hopin that's used for a large networking organization I'm in which is exactly what I'm looking for.
4. Everyone loved the speed networking feature - this is a key reason I bought this to replace my existing solution.
I am hopeful they can fix the recording issue, otherwise I will request refund.

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. Would like to take a moment to address the issues you raised in your review:

a) Can't turn off recording AND can't download recording without contacting support??
- By default, your live session is set to record. However, you can turn off that setting from the backstage area either before going live with the session or while taking a break between it. (there a green color recording toggle)

Also, we're currently testing the "download recording" functionality on the dashboard and it will be live super soon. Here's a knowledge base on how and where it will be available. (https://help.airmeet.com/324/how-do-i-get-my-event-recordings)

- Speed networking works in the social lounge as an ice-breaker conversation between two contextually selected event participants and these conversations aren't recorded at all. Unfortunately, the functionality of the recording table or lounge conversation isn't available either. So, seems like there has been a miscommunication in explaining this functionality from our end. Happy to clarify more :)

- You can choose to allow your participants to join as "guests", this will wave off the entire registration process. To help participants network better, we ask attendees to only share basic information like name and location. Think of it as name tag information, which you get in real-life events.

- On the issue of name tag covering the face of speakers, editing the sub-heading of speed networking, and few other issues you pointed out, I have made a note of all your feedback and will pass it to our product team to improve upon our platform in future releases.
