Best thing at the end...
Since the time I chanced upon zapier (but could not afford it), I was always fascinated with automation. The alternatives at that time didn't infuse much confidence in me either . And then , I chanced upon Pabbly and Konnectzit LTDs. Bought them both and they worked fine. I thought all my automation needs were taken care of until I came across Albato !
The first thing that caught my eye was the app integrator. Although similar efforts have been made by some other automation platforms, it is just too difficult for a non-tech person to implement. With Albato app integrator , the whole thing has been turned upside down! I can integrate an app on my own using the no-nonsense app integrator of albato.
Second thing is the very generous number of operations they offered as compared to my other LTDs. It's almost 5 times what I got from others at the same price point.
As for the UI, I think it is the cleanest and most intuitive I have seen after zapier. It is very easy to work with. Sample this : I had to make an automation wherein a student subscribes to one of my lead magnet courses and then I had to put her in a sales funnel for my other courses. So, I used typeform to collect my lead. This triggered an email on albato that sent the lead magnet course to the student. At the same time, her email was added in an email list on acumbamail which sends sales emails, discount coupons, etc to the student with preset delays. However, if the student buys my course, I would not like to send her any further emails. So, once the student buys the course on my LMS, it triggers an automation to remove the student from the acumbamail list. And boom ! All I have to focus on now is to collect those leads, the rest is taken care of by albato :)
Being relatively newer, the number of apps is less as compared to zapier et al, but so far I have seen them integrating at the rate of 1 app/day. If they can maintain this for the next few months/years, I have no doubt Albato will set the benchmarks for all companies in this niche.
Another thing is the support and roadmap. They have been very responsive and some of the crucial apps I needed were integrated in a matter of few days. Although voting counts on roadmap, they integrating on my requested apps even when I was the only voter on that app ! If they can maintain this level of support ecosystem, then, with such an awesome platform, I don't see why Albato won't become the no.1 automation platform in the world.
