As an entrepreneur with an IT background, I love automation. I automate everything I can within my business and personal life. I have used many of the current automation apps, Zapier, Make, KonnectITZ, etc. Zapier has always been my favorite because its layout is so simple and intuitive, and their backend is robust and stable. I found other options very complex and a pain-in-the-arse to use.
When I saw Albato, I was like not another automation app. It seems everyone and their grandma is creating one nowadays. However, I was curious. I'm glad I took the time to review it. Many other apps claim to be a Zapier Killer, but from my research and review of it, Albato has the real potential to be that app. The UI is very simple and intuitive and they have gone to great lengths to simplify the DYI API process. Even though I am techie, I appreciate that I don't have to go in full-on geek mode to add a public API to the platform. The backend seems to have the power to deliver what they promise. Some other platforms appear to struggle on the backend, which if you are using it for business is a serious deal breaker.
Thank you to Appsumo and Albato for putting this deal together. This is really what I have been waiting for. There are a few apps missing, such as Cognito Forms and Form Engineer (appsumo offer), but I will enter a ticket for these.
