Q: Webhook, API (Zapier Alternative)?

Hi,

I’m aboard, License Tier 3. What we need are webhooks, an API. Something other than Zapier. There are so many alternatives at better pricing. We use Integrately as well, but would love webhooks/API.

My questions are: Where can I find the roadmap to vote? Who should I contact for API access while we wait for webhooks as well? Are you planning on an affiliate program?

I hear you and your feedback.
We are definitely adding webhooks and specific APIs.
For now, you can use the Rest API and the Zapier integration.

You can find the roadmap in your account under "get help" and upvote things there.
Currently, we keep the amount of things shared in the roadmap limited but will add more and share full visibility on what is coming up soon.

There is a referral program in the product directly that you can use to get referral pays for successful referrals.

And yes, in Tier 3 you can directly plug in the Rest API into your system.

2. It appears there is no option to switch off the buyer's ability to add next steps to the Next step section is that correct?
3. It looks like you can't lock steps, which seems odd. If you wanted to use Along for sales purposes, you would expect to be able to lock steps/materials/ability to schedule calls after purchase . I've been through your knowledge base and tested the software it does not appear as a feature. People who click on the link have full access. Can this not be done with a Notion page?

-> WE FOCUS MAINLY ON B2B BUT WE ALSO HAVE CUSTOMERS THAT SELL B2C.
WHEN YOU ADD THE COMPANY YOU SELL TO, YOU CAN ALSO CREATE AN END CONSUMER THAT YOU WANT TO SELL TO INSTEAD.

2. It appears there is no option to switch off the buyer's ability to add next steps to the Next step section is that correct?
-> YES - FOR NOW, BUYERS CAN FULLY COLLABORATE IN THE ACTION PLAN.

-> I AM CONFUSED WHAT YOU MEAN BY "LOCK TASKS"? YOU CAN COMPLETE TASKS WHICH INTERPRET AS "LOCKING" THEM OR AM I UNDERSTANDING THIS INCORRECTLY.
YOU CAN ALSO MAKE TASKS AND PHASES "INTERNAL" WHICH MEANS THEY CANNOT BE VIEWED BY YOUR BUYERS.

Q: Direct iFrame HTML Code Embed? & Workspaces!

Hi!

Your tool seems amazing, and I would love to use it for reaching out to organizations that might be interested in our "Working with Street Children" online learning community, and some purpose-built applications for that field.

I saw that you have the "embed any link" option, which then uses an external tool to create an iFrame for it. In my experience this often fails. For our use case it will be crucial to have REAL iFrame Embedding available, through pasting in an iFrame HTML Code ourselves, directly.

Will this be available soon? Please let me know - because without it, your tool won't be of much use for us.

Hope to hear from you soon. Would still love to purchase T2 (maybe T3)...

Does it support embedded e-signatures feature (Not third party integration) and pricing tables? I'm considering moving from BetterProposal bcoz this can save my yearly subscription.

Hello, yesterday I acquired a Tier 3 license and first of all I want to congratulate you for developing a software that provides so much value. That said, there are some things that are still missing, that should be implemented and I would like you to share with everyone if you plan to implement them and in what time frame.

1- Pages: there is no possibility of creating different pages, so you must enter all the information on the same page, which makes it extremely long if you have different products with different characteristics, certifications, prices, comparisons, etc. For me this is essential when continuing with Along. Most of its competitors provide the option of pages.

A: Hey there - let me answer each question:

1- Pages: there is no possibility of creating different pages, so you must enter all the information on the same page, which makes it extremely long if you have different products with different characteristics, certifications, prices, comparisons, etc. For me this is essential when continuing with Along. Most of its competitors provide the option of pages.

2- The design is somewhat limited, since it is only possible to choose a single brand color, it does not have the creation of carousels, you cannot create columns and you cannot yet embed an iframe.
-> WE ARE ADDING MORE DESIGN FUNCTIONALITIES IN THE NEXT 1-2 MONTHS - ALSO IFRAMES WORK: https://intercom.help/along-docs/en/articles/10542948-add-any-link

3- We need more integrations with other CRM platforms (Zoho, Flowlu, Salesflare, etc.)
4- Currently only Zapier is available as an automation tool. We need Make, Activepieces, Pabbly, etc.
-> NOT LIKELY WE WILL ADD THOSE NATIVELY SOON - ZAPIER and REST API IS THE BEST BET FOR NOW - WE WILL ADD MAKE.COM OR ALBATO LATER THIS YEAR

5- We need a full custom domain (with our domain)
-> WE ARE RELEASING THE SUBDOMAINS NEXT WEEK - AN OPTION WHERE YOU CAN SEND LINKS LIKE THIS: www.YOURCOMPANY.alongspace.com/BUYINGCOMPANY/SPACE-ID

6- Creating workflows is also necessary. I would like to send automatic notifications based on different conditions. I would also like to enable SMS notifications, both for the client (if they accept it), and for my team. In very high value deals, you want to know instantly everything that happens, and emails are not that immediate.
