Q: Do you support foreign languages?
We have a podcast in German language and I tried your app today. The app works pretty fine but everything is in english. And english marketing material is not so helpful for a podcast with German audience. Did I miss the setting?
Thanks, Marc

Jul 8, 2024A: Thanks for trying the app. We do support German, but you'll need to give it instructions to generate the content in German. Currently, it defaults to English.
You can create a template specifically for a specific language and update all prompts to produce it in that language so that you can easily reuse it later. Just add a note to "please write this content in German".
I just found a bug where it's not following the directions when initially generating the content. But if you edit the individual cards and specify the language, it will generate it in that language. We'll get that one fixed ASAP and also make it easier to specify the output language.
Hey Marc, just a quick update. Here's an article on how to create content in different languages with Alphana more easily: https://help.alphana.ai/en/articles/9579772-how-to-create-content-in-different-languages-with-alphana
I used it for German, too. It works like a charm. Set global instructions to output in German, and if you want "Du" or "Sie (always address the reader with "Sie", never use "Du"). You can even overwrite this for a.) an "app" = one video you upload, if that one should be English for all outputs and/or b.) a single card, if you want a translation (1 German blog post, one English)
That's so great to hear! We tried to make this flexible, and you've jumped in to get the translations the way you wanted! I'm sure other Sumolings would love to hear about your experience with Alphana and the language outputs. Could you leave us a review on AppSumo? It would help a TON!
