Q: Image Generation
Hi there, what image generation engines can we use through your platform? I understand these consume 32 credits every 4 images right?
In regards to this deal mapped to Starter, is this for all the plans in all tiers, or as of tier 2 is mapped to Pro already?
We had in the past other deals creating new tiers and adding all new features to those instead of enhancing existing plans which is very unethical, is this in your plans? Thank you.

Nov 5, 2024A: Hi there! Great questions.
1. Image Generation: Yep, weâre currently using DALL-E 3 for image generation, and it uses 32 credits for every 4 images created.
2. Plan Mapping: All LTD tiers are mapped to our Starter plan, so anything new we roll out on Starter is available to all LTD users. So far, weâve made every feature available to all tiersâincluding things like our new Transcript Editor, AI AutoCrop, and BYOK to bring your own OpenAI Keyâwith more features coming. Rather than restricting features, some may just use more credits than others, but everyone has access.
3. Future Feature Access: While weâre focused on making new features accessible to all, there may be times when some are available on other plans on our website. In some cases, future features might be limited to higher LTD tiers, like Tier 3 or 4, though nothingâs set in stone yet.
Bottom line, weâre here to keep improving Alphana for everyone. No matter what plan youâre on, weâll keep rolling out updates to give you the best experience possible!
Hope that helpsâlet me know if you have any other questions đ
Thanks for your feedback, many of us got burned with deals that tie enhancements to basic plans, then they decide to enhance upper plans leaving us out in the dry. Nothing personal, its just the experience we had so far. Would be cool if you could up the mapping to other more higher tiers for further peace of mind. Thx.
Totally understand and appreciate the feedback as well! We first went live in July on AppSumo, and since then, we haven't restricted ANY features. :-)
I can't map it to a higher tier right now, but will consider this. We're more likely to introduce a lower "Basic" plan in the future with many more feature restrictions. You'll still get access to all Starter features (and have many more coming).
