May 14, 2024A: Hi - if you set a default ChatGPT prompt in your account settings, then it will be used for *all* alt text that you generate. This will happen automatically once you set the prompt. If you need to use a different prompt for different images (or different sites), then instead of setting it under your Account, you can set the prompt either using our API or using our website when you process a single image.
The "Ending Period" setting controls whether a period ("." character) is added to the end of the generated alt text. Best practice is to add the period so screen readers will pause after reading the alt text.
