I heard about Amelia slowing down websites. Has this issue been/being addressed?
2. I have a local service business (house cleaning with multiple clients, multiple providers). What I want is a client to land on the form book a service then service providers get notified and accept the job and make it recurring. I don't want buyer to select the service provider. Is this possible?

Amelia itself is not slowing the website down, this depends mostly on your hosting, of course, if you have large number of employees, services, appointments and customers, you need better hosting.
Yes, if you have one employee the employee dropdown will not be shown by default. If you have multiple employees, employee dropdown can be hidden with CSS and the employee will be assigned randomly. YOu can set appointment status to pending so you would need to manually approve the appointment and change the employee if you want.
