Can you set the number of seats per table? If not, is this something you would consider? Would you consider in setting up live chat abotu future of Amelia? I absolutely understand reasoning of going to Events (although for now it's average, until you let people create template through shortcodes and custom fields, backend settings are fine), since you share like 60-70% of logic/conditions/code. But to create a proper restaurant booking, is not far from this. Its not like "we shouldn't make a booking platform for everything", since it's so close to make it really good for tables.

Going forward - you could create addons. Base framework and then let decide a client to enable Appointments, Events, Restaurant or other functionality ;)

You can't set the number of seats per table, unfortunately.

Maybe if all your tables are the same size, the Service capacity can serve this purpose?

Or, if you have multiple table sizes - you can create multiple services with different capacities to cover these sizes?

Our developers have already redesigned the Step-by-Step and the Catalog booking forms, and they now moved on to the Event List and the Event calendar. We're preparing a lot of improvements, so all suggestions are welcome, but please note that we do have our own list of priorities.
