Pros:
1) Creating mind maps were quick and simple from a prompt/file/text. Very easy to implement and see.
2) You can add images easily for better understanding.
3) Interface is beautifully designed, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing.
4) AI explore and AI chat is very useful, you can chat with it, use it to create child nodes/parent nodes as well as choose to expand on a particular part. It helps a lot when you need to go in depth rather than just a brief sentence.
5) Rearranging is very easy, just drag and drop it on any node and it'll auto attach. Helps when you made a mistake/want to rearrange.
6) Pitch mode is an interesting feature that I've never seen before, love it.
7) Exporting or importing mindmaps are very easy.

Things to improve on:
1) AI often replies in other languages. Was given the reply of Chinese text as well as french text before when asked in English.
2) Fit to window is trash, if you expand the mind map to be in depth, it'll become huge and hard to read.
3) Dragging the mindmap around using space+right click and hold is an awful way to move around. (Personally I got around that by using outline view.)
4) To get useful child nodes, you can't just press a node and add it, you have to first AI explore before scrolling to the bottom and using the add as a child node button. If you don't your child nodes would be really simple and not be as in depth.
5) Dragging multiple mindmaps to a single folder isn't possible too so I have to do it one by one.
6) Folder settings are annoying, I do not want to see my recent mindmaps, I want them gone from app.amymind.com/home. I only want to see them in my sidebar. The main page can just be https://app.amymind.com/mindmap/guide. That would be much more cleaner.

TLDR; Pros: Fast and simple mind map creation, easy image support, beautiful interface, useful AI chat/explore for depth, smooth drag-and-drop rearranging, easy exports and imports of mindmaps and unique pitch mode.

Cons: AI sometimes replies in wrong languages, poor “fit to window” scaling, clunky navigation controls, extra steps needed for detailed child nodes, can’t bulk-move maps to folders, and messy homepage with unwanted recent mindmaps.

Does what it promises to do.
A mobile app would be really helpful though.

I still see there are few options/features not adhering to the language setting in Profile.

MindMaps also have critical data because they can contain product strategies, for example. You don't want them to be stolen at any price.

A mind‑mapping game‑changer that finally “gets” power users!
What I love

Full Korean UI – huge thanks for localizing the menus. It makes onboarding lightning‑fast for my team.

True mind‑map file export ( *.mm , *.opml , etc.). Most AI tools only spit out images, which are useless for further editing. AmyMind lets me keep an open workflow.

Blazing‑fast product iteration. I suggested tweaks last week and already saw them live. The devs clearly listen.

What would make it perfect

Pitch Mode – a dynamic, Prezi‑style presentation view so a single map can become a wow‑factor slide deck in seconds.

Native mobile apps (iOS & Android). PWA works, but an installable app with offline caching and biometric login would be next‑level.

“Lock layout” toggle. After finishing a map, automatic zoom/resize can ruin the composition. Give us per‑branch pinning and fixed canvas size so our design stays exactly as crafted.

Bottom line
AmyMind is already the fastest‑improving AI mind‑map tool I’ve tested, and the only one that outputs real map files instead of flat images. Add Pitch Mode + mobile apps + layout lock and it will be the gold standard. Grab the deal while you can—you’ll thank yourself later!
