I created my first mind maps with AmyMind and I am absolutely thrilled! Whether I created new mind maps completely frm scratch with AI or automatically from a Word document or PDF – AmyMind delivers! Usually, the mind maps are more than good on the first try, but if needed, I can also have the AI generate additional subpoints after creation or, of course, add them myself.

The handling of the tool is really well-developed, so that it can be used very well as a standalone mind map program, independent of the AI functions. Whether automatic rearrangement of the mind maps, expanding and collapsing individual branches, adding images or notes (the latter even automatically with the AI), or exporting in a variety of formats – AmyMind can do everything I need. The mind maps also look very appealing. In my case, I had the mind maps created in German, which worked flawlessly.

What I would still wish for:
- You can move the mind map back and forth by holding down the spacebar and left-clicking. This works very awkwardly on a (at east my) laptop. It would be nice if you could just hold down the mouse button to move it back and forth.
- Expanding and collapsing is done via a small menu directly on the entry. In my opinion, a dedicated symbol would be better (as long as clarity does not suffer).
- Although there is a presentation mode (which is great), it would be amazing if it showed the mind map overview and then zoomed in and out of the individual branches, so you always know where you are in the mind map. Currently, the view is text-based.

Apart from that, AmyMind is one of my favorite tools here on AppSumo and gets an absolute recommendation from me!
