buggy & non intuitive way to send a paypal invoice
I figured I would try a test case, to see how this thing works. so far....
1) My personal CO must have too much on her plate, because it takes her a very long time to write back. 2) The interface barely makes any sense, which would be fine, if my personal CO was able to help navigate it in a timely fashion. I'm not that old, yet. 3) The system is buggy, and simply doesn't work half the time. 30 minutes in, I'm informed that trying to create an invoice on the desktop simply doesn't work. 4) After 90 minutes of hassle, we finally get an invoice with a pdf attached. I click send, and assume that everything is good. But then I don't hear back from the client. The client loves to write back. Then i notice that I didn't get a copy of the invoice either, which is odd, because i added myself as a contact. 5) Turns out it didn't send at at all, even though it said it did. and now 'the dev team' is looking to resolve this as soon as possible. 6) I've started a time tracker to track how long it is taking to get a single invoice with a pdf attatched sent. We're at about 25 minutes, today.
I really don't understand how this can help me. I find that it doesn't do much that I need, and the dashboard on a desktop is very limited. I don't work mobile that often so to have more features on mobile is really not ideal (and no android anyway). As previous reviewers have stated, this isn't overly useful with the limited amount of invoices and capabilities. Would probably just prefer my money back.
Firstly to those that complain, the price is equivalent to 1hr of hiring a physical bookkeeper in Australia. This service is an awesome value.
Even without linked bank accounts in Australia the tracking of invoices and expenses is awesome. Fuel dockets, bills and random expenses on the fly - all recorded. Spot on.
At tax time just send totals to the accountant. He should already have advised you on what expenses you can claim or not.
A few international features that I am sure will come with time, will make this a 5/5 review... oh that's right I have a LIFETIME paid for.
