Does what it says but needs some improvements

This platform allows you to quickly build simple apps where you can display different kinds of information... apps like: recipes, local guides, image collections/galleries, book libraries/collections. They have a collection of prebuilt components like: RSS, EPUB book libraries, PDF viewer, image gallery, QR code reader/generator and so on, that allow you to easily build an app.
So, keep in mind that this is not an advanced builder (like Thunkable, Adalo, Flipabit etc.), where you can create screens, collect user input and add logic.

I gave Andromo 5 tacos, because it does what it say it does, and the product has a good foundation, but there are a lot of small shortcomings that I hope they will address

1. The UX of the builder is mediocre at best. After testing MobAppCreator (another AppSumo deal), Andromo feels like a downgrade.
- The interface is crowded with embedded video tutorials and links that you can't deactivate/dismiss, and they will stay there forever.
- Most of the monetization settings are on the left sidebar in the "Monetization" sections, except for In-app purchase option, which is in the "Settings" section. Even more confusing is that, on the right side of the options panel, they are no longer named "Monetization" but "ADS" and the In-app purchase option is also there.
- Having to do that dance between the left sidebar, then the right panel+tree and then the centre options is really confusing and tiring.
- Some component options are on the right panel, some are in the centre.

2. The customization options are too basic.
- Globally you can choose only from 3 fonts
- Globally you can't specify a custom icon for components, and you can't use your own icons
- Some components like RSS, Audio, Gallery have super basic options, you can toggle a few options but nothing rated to the visual appearance like: colors, fonts, style. For instance on the RSS component, you can simply choose from a list of display styles (Grid, List, Card, List tile) but you can't customize anything.

3. Some functionalities are too basic.
- Here I'm mostly referring to the In-app purchase option, where you can't set an image for the component in the dashboard for the before/after purchase, so that the user to be aware if he already purchased the item or not.

Hi, luciandesign!

Thank you for your kind words and clever suggestions!

1. The UI is made in a way when general settings are located on the left side of the builder, and custom settings for each component are located in the right part. This is also what is described in our tutorials. Sorry, if you experienced some confusion, but in any case, it is a 1-page builder, and users can get accustomed to it very quickly.

2. New fonts and icons options are on our to-do list already.

3. That's a good idea. We will definitely consider implementing this option.

Have a great day!
