I had high hopes for this one. Its not a total bust, but its not what it should be - at least just yet.
Before I begin, let me explain the rating of 2 tacos. I would have provided 3 for the system in its current state, which I will talk about shortly, but I knocked a star bc there were some misleading features and elements on the website itself. The website shows items that made me want to purchase, such as a "chat room" feature and showed a KJV church app... but sadly, these were not built in features and required accessing a 3rd party service, not related or referred to with Andromo and only accessible through a weblink. Bait and Switch?
As far as the platform is concerned, its very attractive, but alot of the elements seem half baked... not quite fully there. Nothing that I tested out seemed broken, per se, but, to me, there just didnt seem to be a WHOLE lot that actually provided great functionality beyond other entry level, low priced builders.
What I did like is that this is a flutter builder which would provide native apps for both... and I believe flutter is the future of app building.
I liked that they had a good amount of templates.
I liked the seeming ease of app designing but did find the customization very limited despite what it appeared to be on the surface.
My take away is that this ultimately works and I would want to say it has great promise but the roadmap doesnt seem to add much functionality (my opinion), the builder currently falls short on fleshed out features, and, whats worse, the site seems to be very misleading in a few areas... and I was only looking for/testing a few things - who knows what else and how much is fudged.
I would normally buy and park until it matures, but I do feel very misled already and wouldnt want to sit on something that doesnt show growing promise as of yet.
When looking at the demos, be wary of what is part of the builder and what is 3rd party/weblinked.
