Q: Using keyboard and screen reader can't gain access to Answerly

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Is there documentation for keyboard navigation?
If I use a keyboard, I can't seem to open the Answerly chat unless I click on it with a mouse first. I need to be able to use keyboard only activation. Similarly, my screen reader (Apple VoiceOver) see's there is a box there but can't read the contents, it lists it as "frame" but doesn't tell me anything about the container and I can't read the text there with Voice over.
If I first click on the Answerly area to open it, the chat area is then accessible with keyboard but doesn't tell me what the text area is. It doesn't seem to read the chat content but does see the links and the text area for talking to the bot .
