Simple Task Management App (Nothing More, Nothing Less)

A competent task management application necessitates the inclusion of elements such as tasks, lists, reminders, calendars, daily planners, device synchronization, and recurring tasks. These are the fundamental building blocks that characterize such an application. These rudimentary elements should not be misconstrued as features; they are prerequisites. For instance, considering tires as a feature of a car would be a misrepresentation. Regrettably, many of these essentials are often mislabeled as features. True features encompass elements like WhatsApp reminders, color tags, AI, third-party app integrations, etc. Speaking of integrations, they are facilitated through Zapier and are not native, which is a significant distinction. The conspicuous absence of workflow templates is disappointing. Where might these templates be found? The lack of a GANTT view, a crucial component of any task/project management app, is also notable. In my assessment, Any.do is a straightforward and aesthetically pleasing task management app, but its functionality is limited. It pales in comparison to TickTick, a comprehensive task and project management tool. Furthermore, the proposed plan limits seem unrealistic. The highest tier accommodates a maximum of five users. Is this intended as a jest? I sincerely hope the developer exercises better judgment in future and delivers an application that is genuinely suited for project management and offers realistic plan limits.

Hey, this is Omer from Any.do. I wanted to share my perspective on this harsh feedback:
1. Some of the most popular apps in the market do not support even 70% of all the features you just claimed that are "basic" while we do.2.  Integrations - Yes. It's true. Any.do doesn't offer 6000 direct integrations (who does). However, Any.do does offer direct integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, WhatsApp (2 types of integrations), Zapier (2 types of integrations), Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, MS Teams, Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday, Clickup, and even Todoist.
3. Any.do has +100 custom-made board templates https://support.any.do/templates/ and even allows you to save an existing board as a template.
4. The Gantt view is indeed not yet supported by is definitely on our roadmap for 2024.

Hope this clarifies our perspective,
Omer
