After a long search...
I used appspotr about 6 years ago to make a decent educational app until they changed their business model and shifted to being a low code platform. Being a non techie , I had to withdraw .
Since then , I have been on the “hunt” for a good no code app maker. Besides searching on google, I came across various deals on appsumo but most were white label resellers of Siberian CMS and others were just not up to the mark in terms of functionality and look & feel of the UI . Some required coding knowledge which was a strict no go for me. And then , I chanced upon apphive and my hunt ended finally :).
No code does not mean it’s easy to use for non techies . I have had to apply quite some time to understand the basics. I went through their youtube channel trying to figure out things using the subtitles as the videos are in non-english language. Yes, they also have an english youtube channel but it's still not as rich as its other counterpart in terms of content. The same lopsidedness exists in the support docs. Nonetheless, after I understood and applied something, the result has been marvellous.
My suggestion to the apphive team is : develop more and more youtube videos in english and focus on the beginners with no code experience . Explain how to start and illustrate the various functions and logic. Once you have done that, your onboarding will be smoother for all and the reach will widen by leaps and bounds.

May 9, 2024We have enjoyed hearing your feedback and are excited you are now a part of the Apphive community. As mentioned, it is essential to continue learning more about how our platform works; Although it does require a learning curve, it's worth it because it allows for the creation of apps with all the power of a low code but without the code.
We've got a big challenge in creating more content in English to explain things better, and we thank you for all the effort you put into checking tutorials in Spanish while we translate everything.
We're always happy to hear from you and help with specific tutorials if needed. We also have weekly webinars in English, which are a great way to clear up any doubts or questions.
