I'm currently trying to design an app. The builder is not the easiest to work with.
My issues are:
1) You can't automatically lock/unlock membership content (the user must be either scan a QRcode or manually added into a list by you) - this make it impossible to scale whatsoever. An automation is absolutely needed where when a user buys a subscription is automatically unlocked to premium content
2) The UI is completely DIFFERENT to what is advertised on appily website. I want to create a meditation app the likes of headspace and a fitness training/logger app. Both are advertised on appily website as case studies as follows:

The UI displayed there is NOT even close to what you actually get. You can't display audio tracks like portrayed on the website. What you get is closer to the "audio" feature image here https://www.appilyappbuilder.com/features, but even then is not actually that, there's a previous interface forcing to display playlist or albums similar to an old .mp3 player design.
If this won't be fixed I'll obviously refund.

We’re sorry to hear that you were not able to achieve the intended outcome you were looking for. The platform is very complex, and although its main focus is to provide users with the ability to build robust Apps without any coding skills, it also provides advanced customization features for CSS / SCSS, as well as the option to add your own custom code to Apps, therefore allowing users with coding knowledge to edit the designs and customize the code of their Apps to achieve almost any type of outcome. As for the Apps showcased on the main website, a lot of these Apps were designed using custom CSS / SCSS, along with the skills of a design team to bring them to life.
Since our platform allows Advanced CSS / SCSS Customization and the ability to add custom code, the possibilities of how the App can look and function are endless, meaning if you have some coding knowledge, you can easily build similar Apps to those in the showcase.
Also, regarding the membership statement, as we have mentioned multiple times throughout our campaign, the platform does not currently host a subscription-based feature.
