AppMySite isn't bad, but there is a huge missing feature that puts a glass ceiling in the process (or am I trippin'?)

So that it's known, I've been using AppPresser for about 2 years and AppMySite appears to be a pretty good alternative at first glance(if you don't need a bunch of customization). AppPresser has a learning curve whereas AppMySite is very straightforward and wickedly simple. AppMySIte was built for non-coders, which I completely understand, but AppPresser's customization is only limited by what you know as a developer.

I originally purchased License Tier 1 to play around with AppMySite and it is indeed extremely streamlined to make an app quickly. There is no denying that this is probably the quickest way to set up an app with Woocommerce, period. Because of the effective and speedy app creation process, I purchased License Tier 2. For the speed and ease of use in the app creation functionality, this part has earned 5 tacos.
(+5 Tacos)

I've reached the point where I'm submitting my apps to the app stores and both Google and Apple require tablet/iPad screenshots to submit the apps for verification. There is no documentation on how to obtain the screenshots for tablets or iPad.
(-1 taco for no instructions/documentation on how to obtain screenshots)

I reached out to AppMySite via email support with 2 separate tickets on May 3rd (3 days ago), 1 was about a build error and the other was about the screenshots. AppMySite emailed me back fairly quickly (about an 8-hour response time) about the build error but they have not responded to my other support ticket about the screenshots.
(-1 taco for responding to one ticket and not the other)

If AppMySIte has a way to do the screenshots of tablets and iPad without having to actually buy the devices, then I'm all ears and I'll raise my taco rating. The App Preview tab only displays iPhone and Android phones.
(-1 taco for no app preview of tablets/iPads)

As of right now, it appears that I only have 2 options to obtain the tablet/iPad screenshots:
1. Purchase the tablets and iPads, install the apps, and take screenshots.
2. Purchase the "App store design" add-on upsell for an additional $49.
(-1 taco for the forced upsell for app store required images).

Regardless of how quickly the app was created and how beautiful it looks with just a few minutes of setup, there isn't a way to get the app in the app stores without the graphics. Until there is a way to easily get this part done, AppMySite is pointless to have if you don't plan on paying additional for the screenshots.

I'm not one to complain about money, however, $49 is a rather unjustifiable price just to take a few screenshots on different devices.

Hi Mario,

Thank you for sharing honest feedback with us. We appreciate your review and look forward to assisting you in better ways than we currently are.

We understand that you’ve had a lot of trouble creating screenshots for an iPad and tablet. As much as we would love to help, the mobile app ecosystem has a lot of moving parts other than creating an app. I am sure you must have understood that after an app is created on our system, which is our core offering and the easiest part of making an app live, a lot goes into submitting your app and preparing for the release.

We are most certainly working towards expanding our horizons and the scope of our product. For example: we are hoping to include a feature within the system that will allow users to create screenshots without having to go to a third party design company. Alongside, we also have integration with Apple App Store and Google Play Store on our product roadmap which will allow users to publish their apps from their AppMySite account and many more.

For now, our current offering involves helping customers create a build of their Android and iOS app which is easily uploadable on App Store and Play Store. The add-ons are just a way of helping customers smoothen their journey. Customers who don’t wish to go through us, take help from other design companies to create their own screenshots, considering it is an important aspect of publishing an app.

Like you said, we have always worked towards helping our customers in any way possible, even if it is out of our scope, the add-on is also a part of that effort. Since these add-on are not automated and require involvement from a professional, we feel they’re very fairly priced.

We hope you have smooth journey in making your app live and wish you luck!
