Not an essential tool in my toolbox
The tool seemed interesting, but I no longer use it. It’s one of those AppSumo tools I’ve forgotten about. I bought tier one a while back to test it out, but I never really needed to use it again. The features are basic, and I tested it with clients, but they found it hard to use or figure out. For creative reviews, I've found it easier to send clients videos of changes and then discuss them over video, rather than using a tool like this where you send & forget, expecting the client to respond. The price jump from tier 1 to tier 2 doesn’t feel justified to me.

I’m sorry to hear that Approval Studio didn’t feel like the right fit for your workflow. Every tool works best when used for the right purpose — no matter how great a screwdriver is, a shovel is simply better if you need to dig a hole.
Approval Studio was designed specifically for visual proofing and collaboration, so it may not have aligned with what you were looking for this time.
Regarding the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 2 — it’s actually quite significant.
Tier 2 allows you to manage your team, create different tasks, and customize the system for very specific scenarios.
For a solo user, I’d probably recommend our standard Lite version. But as part of the AppSumo deal, even Tier 1 users receive the full PRO package functionality, which gives you access to advanced features you wouldn’t normally get at that entry level.
