Thanks for the swift response. To simplify, I think you can say that SAFe takes scrum to enterprise level so there are operational commonalities of the core work in the development team, product owner and scrum master areas; SAFe involves getting the entire company involved, whereas scrum is mainly focused on the Agile teams.
It sounds like that would require a big extension to what your system currently does, but it would probably make it very interesting for enterprise level projects.
