Frustrating, but I have high hopes
I bought this package because I run an NPO and needed an affordable way to generate AI art for social media posts. I've spent a fair amount of time playing with various tools, and this one is the most affordable (because it's a lifetime deal), HOWEVER:
1) It still seems to be early in its development. I am constantly fighting with the prompt to get it to give me what I ask for. Ask for a triceratops, it gives you a dude in a hat and sometimes gets stuck like that. It also isn't as good with animals like dinosaurs as it is with animals like dogs and cats. I have confidence that as more training is done, this will improve, but be aware you're going to be spending lots of credits just to get a usable image. But if you're using AI to generate non-stock-looking images of unconventional things (e.g. an ameoba getting struck by lightning), you may well burn through 20+ credits trying to find the right prompt. I've even taken an image it's generated, used the get-a-prompt-from-the-image feature, run the prompt back through and got something totally different (i.e. unusable) from the original image. It also sometimes just ignores part of the prompt. You'll get more usable images per credit using other tools, but over time, this is a better deal. If you plan to generate more than 40 or 50 images per month, though, stack your codes-- at least if you're trying to generate slightly weird stuff, as I am. I don't have this much trouble writing usable prompts for the competitors' products.
2) The default resolution is 512x512, which means you're going to have to spend a credit to enlarge the image when you get one you like. By contrast, default res on DALL-E is 1024x1024, usable for social media.
3) I wish there were more aspect ratios to choose from, but this is an issue for a lot of AI art products across the board.
In conclusion, the product works, but not as well as its competitors yet. You'll spend more time and credits generating AI Smart images than with the competition, so you'll need to take that into account. (Play with it first: maybe the kinds of images you want to generate are easy-- like I said, I try to generate weird stuff.)
Having said that, I have high hopes for this product. If it reaches its potential, it will be an incredible value and I'm super happy to have got in here on the ground floor. In the meantime, I'm making better use of happy accidents than something resembling my original prompts.

May 9, 2024Hey there,
1. Ya prompting requires quite a bit of skill at the moment still. We've added presets and other tools to help with this.
The good news:
The core technology is advancing quickly and the underlying models have more and more data to give more accurate outputs so future updates should help with these issues.
2. This is true it's default but artsmart also has 1024 x 1024 plus an upscaling function that makes it even larger. Also larger resolutions are highly requested so we'll implement that soon. https://artsmart.ai/roadmap/allow-higher-resolutions
3. Ya this is because they all need to be multiples of 64 programmatically.
Thanks for the future faith in the product, positive reviews help us grow revenue and therefore reinvest in the product.
If you have a change of heart about your review you can update it here!
