Q: Interesting tool.

I have been looking at some coding tools, so very good coincidence as well.

I understand you have integration with Visual Studio Code, which is what I use commonly.

There are 2 ways I use VS Code. One is installed version, for using together with Unity.

I also have another portable version of VS Code, so I can just connect a thumbdrive to any system and just do any coding I need to do.

So, does it have any issues with the portable version of VS code? Especially in terms of licencing, especially if it can be connected to random systems?

Does it work with Unity?

Thanks.

A: Hi, we're so glad that you like AskJarvis as a VS code extension. For Extensions to work, AskJarvis requires that you authenticate the device. As long as the portable VS code you are using is on authenticated device, it should work totally fine.

Oh yeah, how about plans for Flutter (the Google creation, based on Dart for an all in one language to create apps for Android / ios / windows / mac / linux / etc.

I might have to learn that soon for another project......

We do have plans to release a mobile app development app that supports Flutter, Swift, or android app development support. We are thrilled to know that this is already being requested and hopefully will provide more value to the users.

Thanks for mentioning flutter - team AskJarvis: please realize that even if you put "Flutter" on your roadmap, many of us might not vote for it cuz we don't know what it is. Now, knowing what it is, I'd say its high on my priority list.

Also, perhaps this might be a one off class (with additional revenue for AskJarvis) but just being able to do register edits and/or bypass bloatware, spyware, or fix problems on my cellphone would be great. Thanks.

Ok, so if I understand correctly, portable VS code will work, but only with certain devices which are already authenticated.

So if I want to use the portable VS code on a new device, I have to authenticate it before I can use it? I assume it will require me to login and authenticate.

Is the deauth process simple so I don't exceed the numeber of seats?

Yes for now, it should technically be as simple as that but this has never been tested before so please reach out to us if you have issues with it. For now we haven't put a limit on the number of devices but that might change in the future.

Good to know. I will probably be grabbing this deal soon, maybe even tier 3 (although am generally a solo developer).
