AI generated code that works better than stack overflow
I was mainly interested in using AskJarvis to generate python code from natural language. The app delivers on that expectation and a whole lot more. The python code generated was clean and leveraged several new libraries that I was unaware of. This is much better than Stack Overflow, which often has outdated syntax.
The SQL code syntax generation and Code Documentation functionally are a nice touch and will no doubt save time when developing. The plugin for VS Code works magically by simply selecting and right-clicking the desired English phrase to see the corresponding code autocomplete.
The AskJarvis website has a recurring problem with the output text overlapping in the text box but a quick copy & paste into Notepad is a simple workaround to see the AI-generated code (if you're using the VS Code plugin this isn't an issue).
One hiccup I ran into when trying to activate the AskJarvis VS Code extension was that I needed to first log out of the AskJarvis website, otherwise, the login process to verify the API key will hang.
Overall, this is a fascinating deal and brings coding superpowers one step closer to non-programmers.
