Does your platform give both an iPhone and iPad version of the app, or just the iPhone version? As many of the systems only give the iPhone version, that while might "work" on the iPad it doesn't get approved to be in the main iPad store as the app isn't actually customized/designed for the iPad, just upscaled version of iPhone version.
