Autocode

Autocode is an automation software toolkit for building bots, apps, and websites with APIs and easily integrating them to your favorite gaming apps and channels on platforms like Discord, Twitch, Slack, etc.

Unlike traditional workflow automation (aka no-code), low-code, or black boxes, Autocode uses a more sophisticated approach that allows you to code and share integrations like single apps.

It instantly connects APIs with code in HTTP response (web) requests or SaaS events, like “slack.command”, “stripe.charge.succeeded,” or “shopify.order.created.” This allows you to create and deploy open source bots and automation, with customizable integrations that run in your Autocode account.

Autocode’s App Platforms offer users auto-scaling and serverless cloud-hosting functionalities for their automation. With this, apps are built using the open source FunctionScript specification, and it automatically turns JavaScript files into typed HTTP(S) endpoints.

You don’t need to be a coder to use Autocode. The pre-built templates via the Autocode App Library make it easy for anyone to get started without typing lines of code.

Autocode’s online Integrated Development Environment (IDE) makes it easy to modify Autocode projects, set webhook events, change payloads, and test code directly from your browser. It is an in-browser code editor with API autocomplete, Inline API reference links, codegen API authentication management, and more. These features can be helpful, especially in editing and testing workflows and automation before deploying them.

The Autocode Standard Library of APIs offers a suite of connector APIs that make it easier to add complex functionalities to your app via third-party tools and some first-party utilities.

The Command Line and Local Tools allow developers to integrate Autocode into their local environment and version control. They’re are available via GitHub, and you can use them to create new Autocode apps via boilerplate, test endpoints easily with a simple calling convention, and much more.
