I’m a software engineer, and I’ve spent enough time around voice and AI systems to know how hard and expensive it is to build a voice agent that actually works in real life.
There are a lot of tools out there that technically let you build a voice agent, but most of them fall apart the moment you try to use them for real customer-facing calls. The biggest issue is always the same: voice quality.
