It Was Good Till it Wasn't

For a little bit of time, I relied on Targetron as my go-to software for B2B email extraction. The platform was initially impressive, simplifying lead generation and making the extraction process feel smooth. However, as the title of my review suggests, things took a downturn, and that enthusiasm rapidly dissipated.

The key issue? The software abruptly ceased downloading the CSV lead sheets. This wouldn't have been a huge problem if they weren't deducting my credits for every unsuccessful attempt. Naturally, as anyone would, I reached out to their support team expecting a quick resolution or at the very least an explanation.

Initially, support was responsive, albeit not very helpful. But over time, their responsiveness dwindled, leading to long periods of silence. To add salt to the wound, when they finally did respond, their solution was far from satisfactory. Instead of addressing the issue, offering a fix, or even supplying a new account as compensation, I was informed that I'd need to repurchase the software. A proposition that, in my opinion, is unacceptable.

A company's true mettle is tested not when things are going well, but when issues arise. And unfortunately, in this instance, Targetron faltered. Rather than taking responsibility and offering a solution that was fair to a loyal customer, they chose a path that seemed more aligned with a short-term cash grab than long-term customer satisfaction.

If you're considering using Targetron for your lead generation needs, I'd advise caution. The software may be effective when it works, but should you encounter any problems, be prepared for a potentially frustrating experience. As for me, I'll be exploring alternative solutions and hoping for a more consistent and customer-centric experience elsewhere.
