understood, so we will put a duplicate check on a combination of link_from, link_to, rel tag and nofollow tag, anchor text
If there is a unique combination of them, only then we will add it, otherwise reject them.

I'd like to be able to know I'm not adding backlinks more than once. Maybe when we add a new backlink the system checks to make sure it isn't already in the list.

The tool should be able to recognize exact duplicate backlinks and alert the user in some way. But if I have two or more important backlinks from different pages on the same domain (Wikipedia for example), then I want to monitor them both / all.

We have made the changes so that whenever you try to add any backlink to a list, the system asks you if you want to remove the duplicate links or not.
This way, you will not have duplicates in your list if you don't want it.
