Overview

BackupBliss is a WordPress plugin that lets you manage backups and migrations while protecting your sites.

BackupBliss lets you create your first site backup in seconds with the push of a button. From there, you’ll be able to create manual backups whenever you want.

In just a few clicks, you can set up automated site backups at regular intervals, like every day, week, or month.

Choose what you include in your backup, like plugins, themes, and uploaded media. Plus, you can use inclusion or exclusion rules to be super precise.

Best of all, this plugin lets you decide where your backups are locatedeither locally on your web server or directly in Google Drive.

Create Backups

Create your first backup in seconds thanks to a clean and user-friendly interface.

Manage all your finished backups in a dedicated tab that lists the backup date, name, file size, and storage location.

Even better, you can lock your backups to prevent deletion so you don’t lose key versions of your website data.

When you finally need to, you can restore any backup in seconds. You can do both partial restores (only replacing parts of your site) or full restores.

Restore Backups

Manage and restore your site backups in a dedicated tab.

Don’t want to test any changes on your main site? You can quickly create a staging site for experimentation.

Choose where the staging site is stored—whether it’s on your server and domain or on an external server.

And best of all, BackupBliss makes it super easy to push your testing site to go live.

Staging Sites

Create staging sites to experiment with different design and layout changes.

You can change the language of the plugin with support for over 20 languages, including Japanese, French, Arabic, and Russian.

Store as many backups as you want for as long as you want. You’re only limited by the available space on your server or Google Drive.

And because BackupBliss offers top-notch client support to help you troubleshoot any issues, you don’t have to sweat the small stuff.

Q: Are you planing to return to AppSumo?

I've purchased 2 codes but would like to expand and have more codes to cover multiple websites instead of activating-deactivating domains each time. Are you planing to return to AppSumo?

Q: If you're migrating to a new domain and have a number of users and contact forms with emails set to various domains (joe@blow.

com, jack@jill.com, etc), will BackupBliss leave those domains unaltered.

A: Thanks for your question Steve. I think they don't get altered, but let me double check with the developers. You can also quickly try it out on a demo instance on https://tastewp.com

Q: Hi Nick, is it also possible to upload and install a downloaded backup to a new domain directory via FTP ...

without first installing a WordPress instance, as with Duplicator? If not, is this planned? This is a very important feature for me and would make Duplicator and Updraft obsolete.

A: Hi Olli, thank you for your question! Do you mean some kinds of script that will set up the WordPress and restore the site by a single file upload? If so, what's the precise reason you need it?

Q: Hi, Is the following scenario possible?

1. I will create a wordpress page for the client on a subdomain. I then migrate wordpress to the client's hosting and transfer the wordpress site to the client's domain on their hosting.

2. I have an existing wordpress website on one hosting. I want to transfer my wordpress website to another hosting under the same domain. Is it possible to do this?
Thank you for answer.

Q: Is this possible with Backupbliss?

(Directly or via a workaround)
1) Backup to my local Synology drive.
2) Stage directly on my LocalWP on Mac (not export, import)

A: 1) Not directly but workaround possible, if you attach your Synology drive as remote/network drive in your filesystem, you can simply specify path to that drive directly. Note: paths outside WordPress root makes backup download impossible via WordPress, you will need to use FTP, or connect the same drive as virtual on other/side server if you want them to be shared across multiple sites.

2) No, there is no dedicated way to spin staging sites with LocalWP unless your site is running in LocalWP environment. However, you can use TasteWP.com as your sandbox environment :)
