Q: Is this possible with Backupbliss?
(Directly or via a workaround)
1) Backup to my local Synology drive.
2) Stage directly on my LocalWP on Mac (not export, import)

Jun 28, 2024A: 1) Not directly but workaround possible, if you attach your Synology drive as remote/network drive in your filesystem, you can simply specify path to that drive directly. Note: paths outside WordPress root makes backup download impossible via WordPress, you will need to use FTP, or connect the same drive as virtual on other/side server if you want them to be shared across multiple sites.
2) No, there is no dedicated way to spin staging sites with LocalWP unless your site is running in LocalWP environment. However, you can use TasteWP.com as your sandbox environment :)
