A: Hey there!
It is Andrea from BackupGuard.
Thanks for the question.
As you do not have access to your account, here are the steps to restore the backup file you have:
1. In case you don't have access to your dashboard, you can download the backup using an FTP client. All the backups and related stuff (e.g. log files) have been located in "/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/" directory.
Please, download the backup file and using the SGPB extractor, extract it and check if everything is fine with the backup file or not.
To use the SGBP extractor you firstly need to download and install the mentioned software on your PC.
You can download it here:
https://backup-guard.com/downloads/
After installing the SGBP extractor, you need to choose the respective archive you want to extract and also choose the destination path where you want to extract.
More details can be found in the following link:
https://help.backup-guard.com/en/article/extract-sgbp-archive-hwyeo1/
2. In case the file is fine, please, delete the Database and a fresh, new installation of WordPress will be needed.
3. Please, install and activate our plugin, then perform a restore.

I will be here, in case further questions will arise.
