It was a fair deal but it doesn't work as expected I really wanted a premium backuper for a lifetime but the free updraft works better for me. After a while the backups didn't work anymore and I couldn't figure it out. I might reach out to them in the future. maybe the support will suprise me, but sometimes I just don't like reaching out to support all the time. life is too complex anyway. I wish it was more smooth.

Hey Sumolings, I bought this deal on January 15, 2021 and stacked 2 codes. Right from the start there were problems. The Security plugin never worked. I emailed the support a couple of times but they just replied with general answers that did not help me to get the security plugin to work. Hey, I said to myself: It's just an extra, don't bother. Next I had frequent problems with the Backup plugin never finishing some backups and basically not doing what it was supposed to do. I emailed back and forth with the support team since February 2021 until March 2022 sending screenshots, uploading failed backup files for them to check. They have been very lacluster on following up on my issue. !Furthermore they have not been able to fix it! Now, after more than a year of patiently pleading with them to get behind the issue of failing updates I simply gave up. I de-installed the plugin. Guys, just use the free Softaculous backup function or do it via a cron job on CPanel. This plugin is not reliable.

This was a great extension and plugin, but for the past 4 months it hasn't been working at all. Have been getting BackupGuard Error: PHP EXECUTION TIMEOUT ERROR. Support is 5 star, Andrea tried to help whilst the known bug is fixed. Besides this I expect a plugin that has been launched in production to work, OR get it fixed within a short time-frame. 4-5 months is un-acceptable.

Backup Guard is a good deal for migrating the site. I keep 1 star with me because the migration was not that smooth(perhaps I missed some steps). Hope that they will make the process even simpler and easy. By the way, the product and support are great(sometimes slower). I hope they can respond to the tickets faster when their users need help. One of my main daily used products in my work. Saving both time and give me peace of mind. The combo with security part of this deal is a fantastic combo. Buy it for unlimited websites, then you have the part that is most expensive if you manage clients sorted. 5 tacos all day long!
