I have mixed feelings

I have now installed BackupGuard on 8 sites on which I previously used the free Updraft plus. The user interface is very clean and it is easy to use.
I set up one-drive as a cloud.
The plugin works without problems on 6 of 8 pages. However, you have to mention that these pages are very small.
On one of the other two pages I got an error message that the execution time limit for PHP is too low. After I cleaned up the database (it was very large due to backups from WPReset), the backup with BackupGuard worked.
On the second page, the plugin does not do anything. I've set everything up, click the "backup" button and nothing happens. Here, too, I cleaned up the database, but with no result. It may be due to an incompatibility with another plugin, but I still have to test it.
Updraft Plus, on the other hand, worked without any problems in the last two cases even without prior changes on my part.

In summary, I can say that the tool does what it promises for the price - but unfortunately not always.
I think I'll keep using it on small sites until the minor bugs are fixed. (keep your fingers crossed that the restoring works)

Unfortunately, the security plug-in only ever throws an error message. So you should definitely not buy the plugin for this one.

I am sorry you faced any issue with either of our products.
Now, as for the Backup plugin: please note that the server limitations may play a role when performing a backup on larger websites. I guess that was one of the issues here. In any case, if something like that ever happens you can freely contact us via Live Chat or at support@backup-guard.com and send the log of the failed backup. We would see what the issue is connected with exactly and come up with a solution.

As for the second website: I believe it could have been a conflict with some other plugin. Could you, please, try backing up again and take a screenshot of the Console section of browser Developer tools? You can then send it to us. Please, also mention this review link for us to identify the case easily.

The Security plugin is a fairly new product and we are constantly working on improving it. So, could you detail what kind of error it brings up for you?
