So far, so good.

Hi, thanks for this fantastic LTD! I've been waiting for something like this for ages on AppSumo!

I have a few WordPress sites, so the Gold deal seems enough for me. I am in the process of migrating one of my main sites to a new server on Digital Ocean, with updated OS, MySQL and PHP... which I hope will be less painful than trying to upgrade the softwares, which I tried and was a disaster, but thanks to snapshots/images, nothing was lost.

I just made my first backup and was a bit concerned about the time it took... maybe you can help me to adjust the parameters better or just calm me and say that it takes this long and I don't need to worry. The whole backup took about 45 minutes. The actual server is a 1vCPU, 2GB RAM, 50GB SSD disk

Hi there!
I am Susie from BackupGuard.

Thank you for the review and we're thrilled to see you liked the offer.
Now, let me refer to the points you mentioned in the message.

1. Depending on the website size, number of files, the plugin settings, etc. the backup may take as much time as it took from you - no worries about that. Most importantly, you should pay attention to the status of the backup - if it's successful, then that's it. Moreover, to make sure there is absolutely nothing wrong with the backup archive you can extract it with our SGBP extractor. If there are no error messages, then the backup file is good to go. (Here it is: https://backup-guard.com/downloads)

However, if you really want the backup to take shorter, you can increase the following option from the plugin settings: "Number of Rows to Backup At Once". However, for the backup to still take place, you should have enough RAM. Thus, you can increase this value slowly and see which one works best for you.

2. As for the duration in the logs - it's actually a problem. We're well aware of it and it (as well as the "peek" typo) will be fixed in the future.

3. And we have added to have the timezone configuration to our wishlist.

Let me know if I've covered all aspects or if there's anything else I can assist you with. :)
