That’s correct and you just need free version. It’s a clever method 🙂 I have explained in detail why we went this route in that support article.

And
Updraftplus(Pro) + Backupsheep
There's some different if you use Updraftplus(pro) + Backupsheep
The Updraftplus(free) won't have wpcore.zip but Updraftplus(pro) does.
This means there will be something missing if you backup via Updraftplus(free) + Backupsheep.

No this is just wordpress plugin restore.
BackupSheep restore from dashboard is pretty much done and need some time to deploy and test everything.
I think we have resolved all major issues with WordPress plugin with new update we pushed today so we can focus on restore feature now.
It’s next big feature so any day now.
