I was looking for this sort of tool, and this is full of hope. I tried many options of this application.

Many issues made things worse under the hood.

Everybody knows every server's hardware capacity and software configuration are different. So when we use FTP or any other API, we must have some live process reporting or mechanism that can monitor the progress. It happened to me with one of my servers, and the application slowed down my server. I tried to find a solution on my server, but it started working when I deleted the node from BackupSheep. And Backupsheep took around 10 hours to backup 250MB of data.
I can understand that it may be an issue with the server's capacity, but there is no way we can figure out in BackupSheep that this process will affect the source server.

I tried to find the cause, but there is no way I can check the issue in Backupsheep, and I contacted Bilal as well. But I can understand. He was busy handling the other issues.

I tested many parts of this application as well. I spent a sizeable time. Generally, I don't spend too much time on app sumo applications, but this has a use case for me. That is why I am writing this review as well.

And my finding is following.

If you have sensitive information, especially in FTP, there is a security issue. (Like data, FTP credentials etc.)
This application needs some monitoring tools.
We need a better support system.
Currently, it is a good investment if you need this sort of application in the future. AND AND, I hope Bilal will continue to work on this app, not like many app sumo applications which rename the application and leave "App Sumo" users with buggy applications.
Currently, I will try to avoid using this application in production because it is in the dev phase. But this concept has a future.

Overall, this concept has well-needed demand.
