Q: IP & TOS

Hi Michael,

Your Terms have a license clause ("non-exclusive royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit and authorize others to use" content) under the User Comments section, but I couldn't find anywhere that says who owns the actual banners I design in the editor. Want to make sure I'm not granting anyone but myself rights any rights to my creative work.

Could you confirm that:
- I keep full ownership of everything I design, and BannerBoo gets no license to use or promote my creatives, and
- The license clause only applies to comments/posts, not my designs?

Thanks so much!

A: Hi techytech,

Thanks for checking — yes, we can confirm this.

You keep full ownership of the banners, designs, and creative work you create in the BannerBoo editor.

BannerBoo does not claim ownership of your creatives and does not receive the right to use or promote your designs without your permission.

The license clause you mentioned applies only to user comments, posts, reviews, or similar public content submitted by users — not to the actual banner designs or creative assets you create inside the editor.
