I really like the idea and I watched demos before purchase. I quickly realized it wasn't as easy as I thought. I have experienced it as very buggy sadly (maybe just bad luck), I have to reload a lot or log out and then log in.
I wish it would snag up text easier from a word-doc without so much copy and paste. I also am missing a way to regret editing especially design editing. I do think this is a really good idea and I bought tier 3 with the Resource Library. I hope they develop it further and make it easier to use and add more features because I really think they are on to something with this product. The support is also very fast.
Overall, it does what it says it'll do, but there are some serious improvements that I'd like to see, still not happening after a long time of waiting/hoping
1. Very rigid way to structure the documents, difficult to organize elements freely, as a result, the output is not as good as it could be
2. No way to customize the landing pages / pop-ups properly, layout, etc. At least different template designs would be nice, if not custom editor
3. Way of styling the resource page is unnecessarily complicated, it could be done in a much simpler way, not several layers of editing options. Not extremely intuitive if I compare it with other tools
4. If hosted on our own subdomain, the subdomain displays the latest doc - we should be given a way to customize this (e.g. add default doc or make it a library, hide with PW, or anything we want)
5. No roadmap - I don't see why everyone else is able to publish it but they are so secretive about it, doesn't make sense. I think 99% of SaaS businesses today publish their roadmap (especially true for AS)
If I could, my score would be 2.5/5... as I said, does what it says, in a kind of a crude way, given how long they've been around (years) with at least 2 LTDs to my knowledge, I'd expect much more at this stage. Since my purchase not much has changed (~5 months).

This is probably the only solid lead magnet and lead generation tool on the market. It is well designed, fluid and simply amazing and the focus that it has on doing one thing perfectly well is superb.
Creating lead magnets and creating the forms, and the pop-ups, and the gates can be complex. However Beacon solves the problem specifically and in its entirety.
I have not found any other solution on the market that targets this specific need. Certainly a product you don't wanna miss out on.
I've been using Beacon for about 2 months and it's a time saver. I like how it imports content from my blog into the document, then I can brand it. I use it to create my lead magnets and I send those to my list to build my email list. Beacon simplifies the process and takes the hassle out of creating a lead magnet. Highly recommended.

I have been beacon users years ago and happy to see that it has been improved so much. The new resources library features is the killer feature to get more quality leads from your lead magnets. Ok, but still long way to go...
