Subforums is a more broad way to categorize your posts. We'll be expanding this feature to also allow users to set permissions to a specific group of community members, so let's say you are a tutor and you want to have a specific place for your Math students and another one for your History students, you'll be able to do that! Categories are more of a way for users to find content they want to see faster, by searching the categories directly.

Currently we support video embedding from Youtube, but we've already added direct video uploads to our roadmap as it is a common request!
