Beatoven AI is an interesting addition into the artificially generated music space. I'm going to get right to the point and say it does not produce most music anywhere near as well as other competitors. I've not been able to generate a decent-sounding Hip Hop track for instance.

Where it truly shines is in the Indian genre. It feels like their algorithm was designed for this first and foremost. On top of that, the emotion parameters you get after selecting a genre work the best here as well. Whether it be Dreamy, Calm, or Sad, these work much better here than with other types of music.

My motivating factor for getting Beatoven Ai was it's generous 15 minutes sized tracks you can create. Most other competitors typically max out around the five-minute mark. On that same note, Beatoven by far takes the longest amount to compose a track from any services I've tried. Even creating a three-minute song seems to take ages.

After creating a song, you have a plethora of options at your disposal. You can change the mood the AI is trying to create, swap out, add, or remove instruments, and mess around with volume transitions. There is a surprising amount of customizability and power given to the user, which I most certainly approve of.

At the bottom of the page, you can find both 'Chat With Us' and 'Report Bug' buttons. I haven't had a reason to test them out, but the fact that they are there is a good sign and showcases their commitment to their service. I would like to compliment the website layout in general. It is stylish and very easy to use. Furthermore, I quite like how they randomly generate names for any created tracks. This helps a ton to keep things organized and remember what everything is without the tedious task of coming up with a name yourself.

Another aspect that I like is that your beatcoins are only detracted when you download a song. You can create, listen to, and modify tracks as much as you want. It is also neat how even buying the first tier includes 2 users, so both you and another can make use of Beatoven. With that in mind, the beatcoin system is confusing enough for just one person using this service. I wish they'd remove it entirely and simply state how much download time we have remaining.

In conclusion, there are many things going for Beatoven Ai. I am unaware of any other company that has implemented the Indian genre. More importantly is the sheer quality of their Indian track generations. I often times can't believe this was made by AI and not a human. Simply stellar. It is just unfortunate how poor the rest of the other genres currently are. It is still early days for Beatoven AI, and this may change in the future, but currently, I would only recommend it if you enjoy Indian music or are willing to lay down some cash for their potential and to have lifetime access.
