Q: I have read through the Q&A and have some thoughts and questions.
I will be raw.
- I am unclear as to whether you are an email hosting provider (like gmail) or are you just an email client?
- When I use my own domain, I would need to point the entire DNS records to you? This would not work for us as we run our own mail servers and we just need to use your platform as an email client.
- Which lead to the next question, why can't you just be a web mail client with focus on security?
- When you designed the system, did you not think that people would need to use their own email addresses? Why would you launched an LTD on Appsumo and have people using only your domain, then charge users additionally for having their own domains? I see you are now included this feature when Appsumolings voiced their concerns.
- For users to have their own domains, this feature should be standard, not an enhanced feature.
- Then I saw your reply to one of Appsumolings "Multi-accounts with users and domain management are on our roadmap and will be covered with special plans, which will not be included in the existing AppSumo deals." This is absurd. We are business users.
- Appsumo is business focused. Why would you bring an app that designed for businesses, but then cut out the features and made it for individuals. Then you want to charge for the basic business features like using and managing their own users. I understand white labeling is an advanced feature, but come on now, to manage users, you want this as a separate package?
- You focus is security, yet you launched an app without 2FA, why? Shouldn't you have this implemented before rushing to launch?
I have bought more than 3,500 deals on Appsumo. Being burned many time due to bad deals, I do know the potential of good as well as, bad apps. At this point, I may refund as NextCloud and EgroupWare seems more attractive. Both are open source and have much better features. They are also more flexible in term of users management. I am hoping you can help me justify the reason for keeping this. If I like your deal, it is not one account that I would need. We have between 425-430 users. This would not be a small investment for us. I needed to be sure that you are the app we could implement for our users. At this point, when you act as both an email hosting company and a client, this may not work. We don't need your email hosting, we just need you as a web client.
Thank you in advance for your time.

May 14, 2024A: Hello Shopaholic,
I apologize for the delay in responding, and I want to express our sincere appreciation for your interest in our service.
To clarify, we operate as an Email Service Provider, and at the moment, we do not offer migration services or API features. Therefore, if you wish to use our product, you would need to utilize our servers.
It's important to note that we are in the early stages of our journey, and we have already successfully developed core features, namely Beeble Mail and Beeble Storage. Addressing your question about whether you can use the Beeble as an email client to collect messages from various email providers without delegating MX to us, this feature will become available at a later stage.
Regarding the availability of Lifetime Deals (LTD) and B2B solutions, we understand your concerns, and while we share your enthusiasm for offering such options, it's a matter of timing and development. We have received numerous messages expressing interest in these capabilities, and we are certainly open to providing them in the future.
In terms of domain management, we have made the decision to permit separate accounts to share a domain as part of the Appsumo deal. This means that colleagues within the same company can utilize custom domains. The user who initially linked the domain to Beeble can send invitations to other Beeble users to use the same domain or create multiple aliases within a single account.
We fully understand your concerns, and I want to personally emphasize that it is our mission to introduce all these features. We recognize the demand from companies or individuals like yourself who are interested in our platform, and we are committed to meeting these needs. Currently, we are actively prioritizing features based on customer feedback.
If you are considering using Beeble for an organization with hundreds of users, we are willing to discuss custom plans for the best possible offer. Please contact us.
Thank you for your understanding and see you on the other side!
> You focus is security, yet you launched an app without 2FA, why? Shouldn't you have this implemented before rushing to launch?
This is a MASSIVE deal to me. It shows this is either a rug pull or developed by people who have no clue what they are doing. 2FA is the cornerstone to safe and secure accounts.
On top of that the vague and obfuscating language leaves me with more questions than answers. They also couldn’t find someone with a basic grasp on the English language? Their first graphic says “adds” instead of “ads” and there are many other examples where it’s broken English.
The more I read about the company, the more I distrust this company and product. I’m kind of shocked AppSumo lowered their standards to the point this isn’t just allowed but also is promoted as a “select” deal

Thank you for your inputs. Let see what they have to say. Still waiting for a reply.
Dear appsumojo,
First and foremost, Beeble is a startup that we take great pride in. We've embarked on this journey, investing our own time and resources, without external support, and we're just beginning. Currently, we utilize cutting-edge technologies to work with user data, ensuring their security. Moreover, some of our techniques are even superior when compared to our competitors.
These are our early days, and we've successfully developed core features, namely Beeble Mail and Beeble Storage. We are genuinely excited to receive feedback from the Appsumo community, as it enables us to apply improvements and address current issues, allowing us to progress together.
If you have any doubts about our team, it's something we take seriously, we appreciate your feedback. We are committed to addressing any concerns and building trust. That being said we plan to roll out more information about us and how we handle the data on our page, very soon.
I want to emphasize our recognition of the importance of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). We understand that it's a crucial feature, and we want to assure you that it is on our radar. Currently, we are actively prioritizing features based on customer feedback.
Additionally, I want to clarify that when we mentioned "Adds," we were referring to Add-ons, not advertisements. And you are absolutely correct, we do not include any form of advertising in our platform either.
Once again, thank you for your engagement and feedback.
Best regards,
Pavels M

Thank you for the great reply. I am going to stack. But please confirm this feature as it is the most important feature to us:
"Use the Beeble as an email client to collect messages from various email providers without delegating MX to Beeble's server, this feature will become available at a later stage."
I would our users to use both (your provided email box at beeble, as well as an email client. We simply cannot delegate the entire MX record to your server. It would be nice if you can accomodate this.
The email client is too basic. Perhaps you could look into these other email clients for inspirational idea:

Interested and I agree with everything Shopaholic wrote especially the importance of multi-accounts and custom domains. Very few of us would be looking at beeble for personal use and even within those, couples and families would want custom email accounts based on their own domains. These are very core essential features not special features, and I hope that if we purchase multiple accounts that one can be an administrator account to handle the pointing of dns and admin of other team member accounts similar to other privacy focused email providers.
Another very important feature to keep mailboxes organized is conversational view, does beeble have this and if not when will this become available?
Hello, SumoXav!
Thank you so much for joining the conversation. We truly value and appreciate the vibrant AppSumo community and the invaluable feedback we receive from all of you.
Your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping our development plans. We carefully analyze and prioritize the suggestions and ideas we receive from our users, including yours. As mentioned earlier, the roadmap will be published on our updated website.
And thanks, we have taken note of your request to implement a conversational view.
Thank you for your interest in Beeble.

Thank you SumoXav. From what I am reading so far, Beeble plan to charge a separate subscription for those features. I hope they would change their mind and include those features, especially for users who stack multiple codes.
I do like the encryption features that come bundled with 1TB storage. But not being able to manage multiple domains and users (from admin panel) is just suck. Then we are being asked to pay for an upsell. Sounds like this deal is just a promotion to sell add-ons.
I also don't get the limits on 25 custom domains and 100 alias. What does it really cost you to allow users to have more allowances. You know what, Cisco offered to buy our a company in Chinese, because Cisco was being killed by them. Cisco charged their customer for every addon features, then come a chinese company that included all the features for just buying the hardware. Lifetime update and additional features no charge. Cisco is too big to fail, but you never know. There's a reason why a herd of elephants are so afraid of one mouse.
I highly suggest you be a lot more generous with the offering on features. I suspect one of the reasons that you are here is because you want to build your base of user's adoption. Don't be greedy with Appsumolings. I understand you need to be sustainable. But with popularity and more adoption, you can generate MRR later.
Just my 2 cents. Now back to work.

Oh yes, and let's not forget. We are the best contributors to ideas on how your app would become better or best. What value can you put on that?
Hello,
I would like to emphasize that the Beeble team has made the decision to permit separate accounts to utilize a single shared domain as part of the Appsumo deal. In this arrangement, colleagues within the same company will have the capability to share a single domain. Here's how it will function: the initial user who claims the domain will have the ability to send invitations to other Beeble users, allowing them to also use the same domain. Furthermore, the primary user who holds the domain will have the authority to remove colleagues from that domain if needed. (This is our top priority currently.)
Regarding the multiple accounts feature, we've been listening closely to Sumolings, and it's evident that this is something they desire, alongside the custom domains. We have taken this feedback to heart and have it in our development pipeline. Our commitment is to provide our users with what they truly want and need. 😊
See you on the other side,
Pavels

Thank you Pavels and Beeble Team, very interested in seeing the roadmap and comparing the current and future feature sets compared to the other privacy focused emails, I do like your implementation of sending messages to insecure email providers through links that can be timed to expire. I also appreciate the way your team appear to be engaging with our needs for business level features, regardng the custom domains we are using numerous custom domains that we are sharing among 18 team members administered by an admin account, multiple domains correspond to different product offerings and country code TLDs) .uk .eu .nl and company names (different brands for service offerings for several markets) so me Xavier needs xavier@company.eu, xavier@company.uk, xavier@company.nl and future markets like france xavier@company.fr next year and also the different company names in different markets for example xavier@company.uk and xavier@company2.uk plus our animal welfare .org domain - xavier@charity.org
I listed out the above some of the emails that go into my inbox that filter into different folders to show my current usecase that I and other team members are using through one of the other privacy focused email providers before we switched from another privacy focused email provider that we also used similarly about 2 years prior. I hope that Beeble can accomodate us in this way, looking at the "all future pro plan features" gives me confidence when seeing your website page as this is the top plan, however if there are possible intentions to add another plan then I would like to see what features are planned for this to be sure that those business level features that many of us need are applied to us.
Good to hear that conversational view is being considered, this was the main reason we left one of the services for another. I think the current deal plan is good, we will try to stack based on accounts we would need for the number of current and future team members but please clarrify that multiple domains rather than a single domain can be shared as I showed above we will need many custom domains to be shared across different team accounts.
I also saw user6979 asked some addtional questions I am interested in and will wait to see those replies. Very interested and hope that Beeble can accomodate us with business level features and our current multi-custom doman use-case. Thank you again and wishing you a good campaign.
