I have had constant problems with beeble

one time my inbox would not load so beeble was out of action for weeks for me

during the period 11th oct 2024 and 30th oct 2024 the issue was not resolved, as I was using another email client to contact beeble support about the problem.
after weeks and weeks they said it was because a email has a few unusual characters in it !!

other times I have had emails not arriving, I set an alias just for a dentist only, I got an email from them saying my dentist account was up and running but when I try to log in they send me a code, but the emails never got received.

no help from beeble, so had to use another email client

defeats the purpose of the purchase.

another app sent me log in codes but beeble will not open them

beeble did not resolve this issue either, they say it was due to unusual formatting in the email.

so formatting of text derails beeble !!

then this holiday season they email me and say that they are deleting one of my alias email addresses because it is one of their system email addresses.

it was one of the first aliases I chose when I purchased beeble and it let me register it and have used it for over 2 years registering apps etc so it can not have been a system address.

seems they are being vindictive just for telling the truth.

so can not recommend beeble at all, locked out of your apps or locked out the whole system for weeks.

this is revised review, beeble denied the issues but I still have the date stamped emails from them regarding the issue and some images they asked showing any console error messages.

Glad I got this one! Constant updates and improvements (though they don't always update their activity log) Email system works well, even on the phone (Android)

Looks like this app has been abandoned by the dev team. They have a public roadmap but it has not been updated at all. I won’t trust to use this service since it might someday go dark.

Changed to one taco since the app does not work anymore. Can’t even access the main page.

I'm updating my review because the app is working, and thanks to this response. I hope this tool continues to grow.

it still works with the basic features they started with but nothing that was on their roadmap at the time of the purchase is active today and probably will not be active in the future. if something isn't developed it is probably going to be closed its gate sooner or later. I doubt whether to trust the service now for sensitive data at all. using it because I already gave this email address to several other services and because it has the ability to generate new one time email addresses.

I'll start out by saying the app is functional; I can send/receive email through it.

But it seems like more of a hobby project than an actual service offering. I DO NOT trust it to handle necessary communications for that reason.

The dev team had a roadmap publsihed, they made an "activity log" as well on the site. Neither has been updated, that i've seen, in months. I haven't seen any changes to the platform, when I've checked in on it.

It seems like the AppSumo launch was just a way to turn the hobby project into some cash.

And good for them, but we got the short end of this stick.
