Q: Hello Be.
Live and welcome back
I passed on you all last time as I had purchased Restream.io before and didn't feel a switch was warranted because they were more feature-rich at the time. (Mostly multicasting) I have broadcasted with you guys before. It was nice. Simple. Clean. Got all the basics covered.
My 2 questions are:
How many channels can you multicast to?
Does your RTMP feature work with Switchboard.live?
Thank you

Hello, great hearing from you!
To answer your questions
1. You can stream to up to 2 destinations using Simulcast ( but not really sure if we can enable 5 destinations for AppSumo users, you may contact our support team regarding this. )
2. Not completely sure, but if Switchboard.live supports RTMP and they can get the server URL and stream key, then yes
3. Yes, it's possible to stream to up to 2 destinations simultaneously

Thanks for the reply Cesco.
I think you guys are a legit threat with this deal. The HD at $10 is cool (I get it). I can't speak for everyone else but that seems kinda fair. The killer for me is the ability to get at only 2 channels. That is just puzzling, but I did just stack up Switchboard.live for this very reason. If this is working in your RTMP features or you can become one of their encoder partners, then I think it saves you from having to do the leg work that they have already done. Seems like a great match and I know a bunch of other sumolings just put some of those codes in their pocket as well.
Hopefully, we can all get there together, this is an easy 3 stack for me. Like I said above I loved the simplicity and ease over the extra work of OBS and Streamlabs OBS (whose PREMIER is at $20 and taking up hardware space on my hard drive) Thank you for coming back
Hi StickSumo,
I had the same question and checked my Switchboard account : BeLive is listed as an option for cloud encoders.
Hey, Cedric! Thanks for the heads-up! ✨
